About this movie
Set during British India, this story follows the journey of poetically-inclined Rajesh (Rajesh Khanna) who chooses to become a revolutionary freedom fighter after his brother is killed in a fight for freedom. He even abandons his love Kamini (Mumtaz) for this reason, who then ends up marrying another man. But their troubles have only begun.
